Thaw out a loaf of frozen bread dough.
Cook your choice of one pound of meat (ground pork/beef/turkey/chicken or chicken pieces work best).
Choose your veggie (cabbage, corn, and tomatoes are popular for us).
Choose your cheese.
Choose your optional extras (spaghetti sauce, taco seasonings, etc).
Layer it all on the rolled-out bread dough and wrap it up as best you can (I've never been as good as my mom who manages to get everything inside with no tears, but it still tastes fine).
Cook at 350 for about 20 minutes or so, until dough is golden brown.
I think the original way is ground beef, cabbage, and mozzarella, but I honestly have no idea anymore.

The one thing that I love most and look forward to is this: To spend time with my husband in prayer. Simple yet so wonderful. My husband and I have seen God work a miracle in our lives. On the other hand, we may observe what fearful threatenings are pronounced against those who disregard this duty. Nothing must be allowed to interfere with this duty: all other domestic arrangements are to bend to it. The head of the house is the one to lead the devotions. but if he be absent, or seriously ill, or an unbeliever, then the wife should take his place. Under no circumstances should family worship be omitted. If we would enjoy the blessing of God upon our family then let its members gather together daily for praise and prayer. Them that honour Me I will honour is His promise.

One IMLP cross-business team and a few brainstorming sessions later, and three new ideas were born - one of them being this blog itself! In the spirit of expressing a day-in-the-life of an IMLP, we created this blog, the GE IMLP Recruiting Facebook page at www.geimlpfacebook.com and we devised a plan to overhaul our main website where candidates apply for IMLP and internships at www.gecareers.com/imlp (in progress). The IMLPs not only gave me the ideas, they also researched various technical solutions, provided a business case and recommendation for the best options, found the resources and created the process for delivering content and implemented the solutions.
This experience of leveraging the IMLPs across the program always reminds me of three key lessons: 1.) a team of IMLPs can deliver just about anything; 2.) the future of IT leadership at GE is bright, and 3.) running IMLP has got to be one of the most rewarding jobs in this company.

i am happy to state that mole 3.0 has been almost as good as the original and new host jon kelley is a very worthy replacement for cooper, lending a similar suave yet kindof goofy appeal to the hijinx. it took a little bit of time to get used to the contestants, several were just downright annoying, but they have also by and large been good players. the missions have also combined the challenging (last week's diffuse the bomb puzzle, the goofy (pigs in a blanket) and the absurd (the one where they *should've* put on stupid costumes and trudged a couple miles, but noooooo..... or the one where they had to go through a town in their undies and ask the locals, who of course only speak spanish, if they could have the clothes off of their backs; no clothes, no dinner).
now at the finale, the final three contestants are mark, who i can't figure out how he made it this far except by sheer good luck; craig, who i immediately suspected to be the mole after my original choice got the boot; and nicole who everyone suspected right through the game because of her behavior. i was absolutely certain about craig until last week. now i'm back to any of them could be the mole. whether she's the mole or not, nicole has played an awesome game, doing a great job of making you believe and then utterly doubt in the span of minutes. nicole i picked to go all the way from the beginning; the other two seem more like long shots, particularly mark. but then again, has he been strategically playing the dumb guy? quite possible. last week he had the opportunity to put $75k in the pot or look at the mole's dossier; he chose the latter. now certainly a bumbling contestant who wants the best shot at winning more than $400k would want the dossier over the extra money, but the mole would want that as well. mark also pitched a major hissy fit when the contestants' journals were burned (that's the only thing they are allowed to keep notes in) which seemed a bit over the top. and craig, because of a "medical incident" that kept him away from the journal burning, got to keep his journal, which seemed kindof unfair.... also craig, who is a large dude, just kindof "suggested" that they go find some clothes at a laundromat when they were running around in their undies, and they just happen to pick the one where their own clothes had been taken. hmm, mole activity? but all of the groups in that game were actually given a clue that could've brought any of them there. so who knows.
anywho, i can't wait to see who the mole actually is, how she or he screwed up the game deliberately or were otherwise deceptive and what the clues to the mole's identity were hidden in the show that i totally missed (might've helped had i read the contestants' dossiers). of course i was going on what i thought was a clue for my original mole pick but that didn't work out so well obviously.
it's been great fun watching this season of the mole, filmed in south america this time, and i hope they pick it up again for another run. more to the point though, i hope i can stay awake; it isn't on until 10pm and i'm already half asleep.

When I got the call I did what I always do, I asked a lot of questions. I particularly ask if they know what their credit is before I run it, and what their income is. From the initial response that I got it was clear that I could not qualify them on just her income for the amount they wanted to be qualified for. So I suggested that we first look at both their credit, because sometimes we can fix someones credit very quickly. When I looked at the Credit Report, it was obvious that it would take a few months to correct his scores, and they wanted to purchase a Condo right away.
It was clear to me why the other Loan Officer was trying to do a Stated Loan on her only. She is a Waitress, and even though she receives a base hourly rate, a large part of her income is from tips, and she does not claim all the money that she receives in tips (a way of not paying taxes, but not good for mortgages). I asked her if she had any documents from the other Loan Officer, she said she did and would e-mail them to me.
I quickly looked at the documents as soon as I received them, and I did not like what I was seeing. Right off the bat the interest rate was one point higher than my rate, and the Closing Costs were $1,000 higher. The other Loan Officer also grossly understated the taxes and condo fees for that area. It became even clearer what was happening when I looked at the income that he was stating. He was stating both her income and his, even though she was the only one on the loan.
I called her back and went over with her what I was seeing, and then told her to read the disclosures that she had received VERY carefully. The disclosures stated that she was giving them permission to verify the income, by giving them permission to request her tax returns. It went on to say that tax returns might be pulled at time of application or by Quality Control after the loan closes. It also warned her in several place about providing false information.
This Loan Officer was encouraging them to sign documents that obviously contained false information. That is not only FRAUD on the part of the person signing the documents, but also FRAUD on the part of the Loan Officer encouraging them to sign documents that he knew contained false information.
I showed the Realtor the documents that they had received from the other Loan Officer, but he was already aware of them, because she had also forward them to him. He told me that he was not going to have anything to do with this, should this young couple decide to go forward with this Internet Lender.
He and I have advised them of the consequences if they go forward with this, as well as the games that will probably be played with them along the way. Should they do this, they will be doing it with full knowledge that this is Mortgage Fraud. I am also going to encourage them to report this Lender to the Banking Commission, should they decide not to go further with them.
So be careful out there, even though things have slowed down a little bit, and Lending Guidelines have tightened, the unscrupulous are still around, and spinning their web of corruption.
